Step Two:  We will discuss your financial situation and I will let you know if you QUALIFY for Chapter 7 bankruptcy (liquidation) or Chapter 13 bankruptcy (reorganization).

Step Three:  I will advise you of the attorney fee for the service.  Fee is dependent on the complexity of your case based on a number of factors such as number of creditors, whether you own a home, car(s) or other personal property.  

Step Four:  I will advise you of the documents needed to successful complete your case.  There are bankruptcy filing fees:  Chapter 7 is currently $335 and Chapter 13 is $315.  This is in Addition to the attorney fee.

Step Five:  You can pay the entire amount upfront or pay in installments but your case is not filed until the attorney fee and the filing fees are paid in full.
